Pebble Art

Pebbles, lots and lots of pebbles, so smooth by the constant currents of the various bodies of water, carried to the near and far shores and each glistening in the sun. Sea Glass, once pieces of hard edged shards of glass bottles and jars now soft and round edged.   And sea shells, pieces of shells shiny and white. Such perfect shapes and colors. There on the beach, waiting to be collected; and then arranged on a canvas just right: a romantic couple, a family with children and pets having fun, birds in a tree, a lovely bride in a veil with her forever man. Or,  soft blue flowers of glass.....each unique one-of-a-kind art loved and adored by many. 

I so enjoy the hunt for these little treasures that I hardly notice the time and spent hours combing the shores knowing with each small or big wave new pebbles, sea shells and sea glass is uncovered. Some pieces so unique and special already igniting the imagination of what the piece will portray . It may sound silly but it brings me so much joy. That is how each of my pebble art pieces' journey starts.
